Here in the Milners household we only meal prep at Christmas and rarely pre plan what we are going to eat.
Yet we spend very little on groceries compared to other families we know and rarely eat out or get a takeaway.
Last time I did the maths itworked out that we spent about $270 to feed the 5 of us per month.
Our routine is simple. We have afreezer full of meat that we have previously bought while on clearance or onthe supermarket weekly deals and we decide the night before which meat we wantto eat the next day.
Our freezer is loaded with ham,ground beef, chicken, turkey, as well as leftover meals that we have saved foranother day.
You will also find plenty ofvegetables in our freezer and in our fridge as well as a well stocked pantry.
Our ground beef will be in packsof 400g, which is perfect for lunch or dinner for our family and we can choosethe night before what favourite ground beef recipe we want to eat.
Then the next day the meat and vegetables will go in either the air fryer or the instant pot, or a bit of both and then we will have an easy lunch or dinner on the dining table.

What You Need To Air Fry Ground Beef
To air fry ground beef, I recommend the Philips Air Fryer XL, its my all time favourite air fryer and does the best job. I also have this cheaper alternative that is also in the Milner kitchen and features in a lot of our air fryer recipes.
Then for air fryer accessories I would be lost without my silicone and its perfect for cooking ground beef in the air fryer and many other air fryer recipes to.
The best option is this silicone dish that we use in our air fryer lasagna, then another great option is some smaller silicone dishes like these red ones that we use in many of our frittatas and other recipes but is also fantastic for a taco pie or anything similar.
